I have my reasons!

Yes, Yes, I've been 'AFK' for a while. (That's 'away from keyboard' - oh, come on, join in with the internet lingo, it's fun!)


But, basically, I've been doing other things. Not life important things, just things that make you not want to blog.

List of things includes:

• Watching bad american teen drama's. (I'm really good at this).
• completing the initial spell check of my novel (which took FOREVER, but is finally done - real edits start next week).
• reading books for uni and personal life. (will have to try to find time to blog about the latest book this week!).
• Watching films on TV/ DVD (which will be reviewed shortly).
• Hanging with friends.
• Playing rock band and singing my heart out (getting up to 100% on 'Hard', I'm moving on to expert soon!).
• Eating an entire LARGE domino's pizza in one sitting. (I'll be running hard this week to burn it off!).
• Creating a successful new blog on Tumblr, which has gained over 100 followers in 5 days! (link).
• Playing 'house' whilst my parents were in Abu Dhabi for the week.
• Cleaning my boyfriends house. (Trust me, this takes an age, Kim and Aggie would be disgusted!)
• Entertaining my boyfriends 'aunt' for the weekend. (She's from America, and is lovely!).
• General procrastination practice. 

So you see, I've been 'living' - just not documenting such living. But I've missed this place and will be back with fun things at some point. Which I always say, but never do.

I'm like the 'tomorrow' of the blogging world. Always on the horizon, but never arriving. (get it? Because tomorrow, is ALWAYS tomorrow, and never today! God, I'm smart!).

It's not big, or clever!

I thought I'd hit you up with a quick blog, this fine Wednesday? No, Thursday night. I can't keep track of the days. I seriously haven't known what day it's been all week. But that's Christmas for you. You don't have to think about it, so it's ok to be flaky and distant.

Yes, yes, I'm aware of my distance with the blog as of late. But things tend to build up. Not that they did, I'm just aware that it happens to other people. Funny, how life happens to some people. It doesn't happen to me, but I like to pretend it does.

Once again we have reached the end of another year. I got a bloody good haul for Christmas presents this year. A Nintendo 3DS, LOADS of books (Huzzah), and some new converse trainers. Which, to me, is like shoe porn. So I was well chuffed when 'Santa' sent them to me. Am I the only one who still makes her parents sign gifts from 'Santa'? Well, it's fun to keep the magic alive if you ask me.

I guess the reason I haven't blogged is mostly because I have been putting off most types of writing since November came and went. After finishing the writing month I gave myself some time off writing. December was going to be the month or finishing my novel, but, well, I've been stuck in a rut. Mostly because I don't know how my story is going to end so I have been stuck in my head, trying to figure it out, rather than writing to get it out. Still, later today I will crack on with a few paragraphs. I promise... I do!

I have to get back to watching some vampire diaries (re-watching season 1!) before I start writing. I call it 'inspiration' because I hate calling it what it truly is, which is 'distraction'. And no, my book ISN'T about vampires, I just like the pretty boys...

Enough of that, you smut-seekers.

I'll most likely do the usual end of year blog later this week, so I hope you all look forward to it. It will be better than this attempt. Pictures, and actual content, rather than brain numbing jibber jabber.

Honestly, I'm speechless...

I literally have nothing I want to blog about today. It's finally happened. I've got no words to fill this awkward Internet void of silence... How embarrassing.

On a side note, I love how it is 21:46 and as I write this I can still hear the birds tweeting despite it being dark out. it turns out they like the nice weather too! Of course, Sammi won't be a happy lady if they carry this on all night... oh who am I kidding? I will sleep no matter what! Jeez, I'm tired. I'm sure I'm coming down with something.... meh!

I'll blog tomorrow if I have time, but if not.... it will have to be Sunday, as I have far too many important things to do than blog! Like see friends, and walk around Harrogate ALL day! :D

Sup? I like to look at my blog stats. Just to see what's happeneing on my page etc. because, as mentioned yesterday, I like seeing what makes people tick. See what people like to see in a blog, of such. And it always makes me laugh to see that one of the blogs I did a looong time ago still gets the majority of hits. And I mean about 600% more hits than any other blog post. It was a post about fashion. I don't usually do fashion posts, because I am a nerd who has no real style. plus, there are so many fashion blogs out there that me doing fashion things would be insane, as I'm not even a beginner in that sort of thing, I'm a 'I kind of like fashion but don't know anything about it and don't have the time to become interested in it' kind of girl. Just this past week one of my other posts has started to get more hits too. The 80's blog. So, people, as it turns out, love seeing pictures of people wearing clothes and wearing 80's makeup. Who knew? If I was the sort of person who wanted to get a lot of followers just for the hell of it I would just post pictures of clothes. But, well, ASOS do that AND they have the bigger idea of selling clothes too... like most clothes shops... so I don't really see the need. Plus, I like my random blogging. I blog what I think, when I think it. Much like in real life, when I say what I say when I think it... Meh. I've lost my train of thought. Thanks for reading my ramblings! Sam
