I think...

Therefore I am...

Such a philosophical Q and A. I know... What's gotten into me? I have no idea.

What I was meant to write, was 'I think I've figured out why this damn blogger stopped letting me edit my blogs to make them all happy and shiny and colourful and stuff'. But my hands got in the way!

So, yessh. I only just discovered, when setting up a new blog (I'll talk about that later), that I was on 'old' settings of blogger. Heaven forbid I be told they have changed the editor software. No! Don't tell me you have to manually change which ever one you want to use. *HUFF* Technology, eh?

So, on a lighter note. I set up another new blog. But.. no... wait... don't tell me I'm being silly - just listen! I read a lot of books and thought it would be fun to write about them. So I started this to have fun with. I know I don't usually keep up with new blogs, but hey ho! When you have an idea, you should go with it until you don't want to go with it anymore. And THAT'S why I've done it.

I'm bored now and my dinner is getting cold - toodles!

Setting myself an unattainable goal, yet again!

So! Well... BEDA is going well for me so far. Lots to blog about when I put my mind to it. I'm also being good and saving blog posts a day or two early and then posting them as and when I wish, which is so unlike me. I'm not normally this blogging prepared! I decided I was going to start a new blog. But I decide to start new blogs all the time, and I set them up and then miserably watch them fail, as I don't have the time to tend to other blogs apart from this one. But no. I am going to set this one up for sure. Because I have purpose and practise on my mind. My Boyf got me a couple of books for our anniversary (sorry, I won't talk about it any more after this post! :P), which are to help people write, basically. Fiction, mainly. One of them is a writer coaching book and helps you understand how to write a story, how to get out of the fear of writing, how to create characters, lots of stuff someone needs to know if they fancy giving writing a go. Which I do in the long run. The 2nd book I have is writing exercises, where you read a chapter and write for 5 mins a day. Different themes and challenges that are supposed to help you grow and learn. SO, to conclude, this new blog will be my writing space where I will share my creations to hopefully get feedback, and just get some stuff out there! I am in the thinking that if I make myself blog about it, it will keep me on track. Make me push myself to do it. And this is what I am planning to do. I promise to at least try to set it up!!! Sam

Its time like these.

Yep.
I was walking home today and realised all my relationships are good at the moment. It was quite satisfying. Which is cool.
I am tired. But I don't really mind today. Its Sunday, which is the best day to be tired.
It's been one of those weeks, where everything has been kind of stressed, and fast paced, but really good at the same time because I felt like I have achieved something this week. I got a couple of new Cd's the other day. Dolly Partons new (ish) album 'Backwoods Barbie' (surprisingly very good!), and Prince 'Purple Rain'. I love bargain bins, they just add to a good shopping trip.
Things with Le Buff are good. I think I was nice and let him see me every day this week bar Monday and today.... I am trying to be sweet to him. Hehe. We kind of had one of those weeks where we had a heart to heart and now feel a little bit closer. Which is nice. I like talking to people and feeling like something was gained from the conversation. I don't think it happens enough when you talk to people. Its usually just for entertainment value that I have conversations - you know, its the friendship thing where you just talk and it doesn't mean much, but it does... but this week I have been having real conversations. Its strange that I know when these 'real' conversations occur. Surely one should have these all the time, but I guess that's not really true. Huh...
I love all of my friends at the moment. I had a realisation that all my friends are here right now, almost. And if not here, then some where out there, but contactable. Which doesn't always happen as people drift in and out of the social network of life sometimes, but right now I feel everyone is in reach, and I pray I don't let that slip for a while, because I like knowing that there are people out there whom I can connect with and hang out with and talk to and stuff, and its easy, and not a chore. Yeay for friendships!
I just had coffee and hung out with an old friend and it was fun - we are going to be doing a new project which is basically for our creative sides. She is a writer and me a photographer, so we are going to try to incorporate that into a new blog - the link will probably follow once we get it sorted out. But I am well and truly excited about the prospect of creating something. I haven't felt like that in a while. More.... frustrated at my lack of enthusiasm and inspiration. But this will be good. And force me to take more picture. Which I HAVE to find time to do. Its vital I do it, for my mental health... I am trying to buy a new camera from someone at work at the moment. I say 'trying'. We have an intranet at work with a buy and sell notice board, so someone puts what they are selling on it, and its up to you to email them to say you want it. I am pretty sure I was the first person to email him about it, so I hope i get it. I ain't even haggling on the price. No sir. I am full pricing it up. Fingers crossed I get it, because its the joy of a new camera that's keeping my spirits up at the moment. My other camera is amazing, but its bigger than your average camera so not good to carry around for long periods of time. This new one is slightly smaller, and will hopefully mean I can take it around with me and be snap happy without feeling like the self conscious photog.
I am also going to try to contribute to my friends project. A book about good things. So a list of the good things in life. I am trying to conduct one now, which reminded me of a project I was gonna do, which was to make all my friends draw a picture.. a self portrait or a picture of something they like, or something that describes their personality and put it in a book. Or write a poem or something... I like the idea of collaborations. So I might set something up for that. I hope. But knowing me I will forget! Curses!
Planning to be very busy this week. But I need to start going to bed earlier. 3 am every morning this weekend is not good for you. I can tell you that for free. Sleep more. Yessssss.

Piano (wo)man

LaLa.

I really am itching to start learning to play the piano, but I know as soon as I do start I will want to give up because I am no good. I have this strange thinking. You know when people are just genuinely good at something. A natural? Well, I am pretty sure everyone has that in them. Something they are really good at, straight away. I want mine to be piano. But I doubt it will be, and when I figure this out, I will want to quit. No No No. I must not, I will prevail!

I have several news worthy items to share with the masses. (Although, when I say several, I mean a couple. I will tell you a million times, I never exaggerate). The first is... trumpets please- the new blog is ready to go. It was what I was planning on doing anyway, but I did the first post the other day to see what I thought of it. I changed the layout and name (I'd 'Ere is no longer my number one choice, so its changed to something I find more fitting at this moment in time) - I still might change the layout though. I am having a hard time getting comfortable with it.... *sigh* Its dullsville right now, but I do want to get it kinda cool looking...

Secondly, I am SO happy about this, and I can't believe I didn't know about these before, but there are stories AFTER Labyrinth.
Labyrinth is my all time favorite film. I used to love it as a kid, and now, I still do. I have the soundtrack - I have even painted a labyrinth canvas.. ok ok, so I started it 4 years ago and never finished it, but still!

Return to Labyrinth is a Manga based graphic novel (I refuse the term 'comic' on this one occasion) about - yes, you guessed it- life after the Labyrinth, when Sarah went home, and foolishly left Jareth; the king who promised her the sky and world and all that was in it... I am going to somehow find out where to buy these from, and get them. I love Jareth. Its sick, and wrong. But, well, he whisked Sarah away from everything.. its eerily *romantic* to me. I like that. (OH GOOD GOD. I just clicked off this page by mistake. Thank you Auto Save!)

Drat. I am sure I had something else to write, but alas, its gone. I guess that's just that then. Well. Interesting information of the day, sponsored by Wiki:

Grrr... when will my memory come back?

Sa....er, yeah, its Sam
